AJ Pollock Scratched From Spring Lineup
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder AJ Pollock was scratched from Monday's spring lineup due to general body soreness, according to manager Dave Roberts. The Dodgers aren't taking any chances in the Cactus League, especially with a player that has an extensive injury history. The 34-year-old should be just fine and will likely be back in the lineup in a day or two. Injuries and playing time have held him back a bit in fantasy with the Dodgers the last few seasons, but he hit a solid .297/.355/.536 with a career-high-tying 21 home runs, 69 RBI, 53 runs scored and nine stolen bases in 422 plate appearances over 117 games last year. With the designated hitter now in play in the National League, Pollock should be on the field more often than not, making him a potential value pick if he stays healthy.
