3 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals claimed pitcher Packy Naughton off waivers from the Los Angeles Angels on Monday. The Angels designated Naughton for assignment on Friday, and he'll have to earn a roster spot with his new team this spring. The 25-year-old left-hander made seven appearances (five starts) for the Angels in his first big league action last year, posting a 6.35 ERA and 1.81 WHIP while striking out 12 and walking 14. If Naughton eventually makes his way to the major league roster in St. Louis, he won't be on the fantasy radar.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
