Jaguars Re-Sign Laquon Treadwell
3 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars re-signed wide receiver Laquon Treadwell to an undisclosed deal on Monday. Treadwell had 33 receptions for a career-high 434 yards and one touchdown on 51 targets in 12 games (seven starts) for the Jaguars last season. It was nice to see for the 26-year-old former first-round pick, but it's hard to see him making much of an impact in 2022 behind new receivers Christian Kirk and Zay Jones. Jacksonville also has Marvin Jones Jr., Laviska Shenault Jr. and Tavon Austin at the position, although Shenault could be traded. Injuries will likely need to strike the position for Treadwell to be given a significant role in the team's passing attack in 2022.
