Nick Senzel Avoids Arbitration
3 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Nick Senzel signed a one-year deal worth $1.2 million to avoid arbitration with the organization. This is a good deal for the oft-injured outfielder. The 26-year-old should get a chance to start everyday in center field and prove himself. He has a solid mix of power and speed that should make him an intriguing late round draft selection. However, Senzel has played a total of 59 big league games over the last two seasons. The hope is that he'll be able to stay healthy and earn himself a better deal next season.
