Jarran Reed Agrees To Deal With Green Bay
3 years agoDefensive tackle Jarran Reed has found a new home with the Green Bay Packers for the 2022 season. Reed started all 17 games last year for Kansas City, compiling 43 tackles, 12 quarterback hits, 2.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles while remaining a stalwart of the starting lineup. He figures to work alongside Kenny Clark on the Packers' defensive front, a group that will be looking to make up for the absence of Za'Darius Smith. Reed, a former second-round pick, had previously spent five years with Seattle, primarily as a starter. The Packers' defense could be a coin flip as to their season-long viability entering 2022, but adding a presence like Reed is a step in strengthening their appeal.
