Chiefs Trade Tyreek Hill To The Dolphins
3 years agoThe Kansas City Chiefs are trading six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday for five draft picks -- a 2022 first-rounder (No. 29), a second-round pick and a fourth-rounder as well as a fourth-rounder and sixth-rounder in 2023 -- according to sources. Hill couldn't work out a contract extension with the Chiefs and will now sign a new extension with the Dolphins (three years, $75 million) that will make him the league's newest highest-paid receiver, just one week after Davante Adams set the mark. The 28-year-old speedster will surely lose some fantasy luster with a downgrade in quarterback from Patrick Mahomes to Tua Tagovailoa. But he'll combine with Jaylen Waddle to form an incredibly dynamic one-two receiver duo in Miami.
