3 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons re-signed safety Erik Harris to an undisclosed one-year deal on Tuesday, according to a source. Harris made 12 starts in his first year in Atlanta in 2021 before having surgery to fix a torn pectoral muscle in December. The 31-year-old finished the year with 64 tackles (46 solo), three tackles for loss, half a sack and eight passes defensed. Davis should return as an every-down starter for the Falcons in 2022. He began his NFL career in 2016 with the New Orleans Saints before spending four seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders. In 77 career games (42 starts), Harris has 254 tackles (195 solo), seven tackles for loss, four QB hits, half a sack, five interceptions (two for touchdowns) and 28 passes defensed.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
