Colin Kaepernick Still Hoping Seahawks Give Him A Shot
3 years agoFree-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick hasn't played in the NFL since 2016, and the Seattle Seahawks are the only team to have hosted him on a visit since then, in May of 2017. Kaepernick held a workout at the University of Washington's indoor practice facility on Wednesday, spending around 90 minutes throwing to a handful of pass-catchers. He has been traveling the country holding throwing sessions since mid-March and has been posting footage of his workouts online in hopes of garnering enough interest from an NFL team to bring him in for a workout. Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll didn't entirely rule out the possibility of bringing Kap in for a workout. Now that Russell Wilson is in Denver, it's possible Seattle gives more thought to signing Kaepernick to compete with Drew Lock for the starting gig in 2022.
