3 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks are signing free-agent linebacker Joel Iyiegbuniwe to a one-year, $1.1875 million deal on Thursday. The deal carries a $1,525 signing bonus. Iyiegbuniwe was a fourth-round pick by the Chicago Bears in 2018 out of Western Kentucky, and he spent his first four seasons in the NFL playing for the Bears. The 26-year-old played mostly on special teams with Chicago and racked up a total of 29 tackles (25 solo), a tackle for loss, one pass defensed and one forced fumble in 58 games (zero starts). Expect Iyiegbuniwe to continue playing mostly special teams for the Seahawks in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
