Chiefs 50-50 To Sign Marquez Valdes-Scantling
3 years agoThe Kansas City Chiefs are "50-50" on signing former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling and also "feel good" about adding former Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones II, according to a source. Cornerback Stephon Gilmore could also be in the fold for the Chiefs if his price comes down. Kansas City is looking for more receiver depth after sending Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday in a blockbuster trade. Valdes-Scantling would provide the Chiefs with a downfield threat next to JuJu Smith-Schuster. The 27-year-old has been an inconsistent fantasy play in his four seasons with Green Bay, but he averages 17.5 yards per catch in his career and arguably have much more upside in KC's explosive offense.
