Dodgers Extend Manager Dave Roberts
3 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers and manager Dave Roberts have agreed to a three-year contract extension through the 2025 season, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network. The exact terms of the deal haven't been announced. The Dodgers have been one of the most successful teams in the league across the 49-year-old's tenure with the club, amassing a 542-329 record. They should once again be among the best in baseball and are one of the favorites to win the World Series after a successful offseason. The front office re-signed utility man Chris Taylor and starter Clayton Kershaw while bringing in star first baseman Freddie Freeman. Earlier in the day, Roberts promised Dodgers fans a championship, saying, "We are winning the World Series in 2022."
