Evan Longoria Has Right Finger Tendinitis
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants third baseman Evan Longoria (finger) is dealing with right index finger tendinitis, but he is participating in all baseball workouts in camp and will be re-evaluated next week for spring training game activity. Longoria said the pain in his finger stems from when he was hit by a pitch late last season. The 34-year-old doesn't appear to be in danger of missing the start of the 2022 regular season, but it's a bit concerning that he's still having issues with the finger. The three-time All-Star hit .261/.351/.482 with 13 home runs, 46 RBI and 45 runs scored in 291 plate appearances over 81 games for San Fran in 2021 and is currently ranked as the No. 26 third baseman in fantasy at RotoBaller.
