3 years agoDallas Stars defenseman Miro Heiskanen (mononucleosis) will miss an 11th straight game on Saturday against Vancouver, but he's close to returning to the lineup and could be available already for the next game on Tuesday versus Anaheim. The talented blue-liner will have a fitness skate on Sunday before joining the team for a four-game West Coast road trip. Heiskanen was first ruled out for just a few games with a non-COVID illness, but he was then diagnosed with mononucleosis and it's taken him a few weeks to get game-ready again. The 22-year-old has recorded 29 points in 52 games this season with 39 hits and 72 blocks. Jani Hakanpaa has filled in for him on the top defensive pairing.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
