3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Wade Miley (neck) is throwing live batting practice on Sunday. Miley's 2021 season ended with a strained neck, which has delayed his spring training this year. The 35-year-old veteran left-hander doesn't have much time to ramp up before Opening Day with a shortened spring training, so if he's not on the injured list to begin the season, he's likely to have a very short leash in the first month. The soft-tossing southpaw doesn't have a ton of fantasy upside due to his 7.1 career K/9, but he induces a lot of weak contact and had a nice 3.37 ERA and 1.32 WHIP with 125 strikeouts and 50 walks in 163 innings over 28 starts for the Cincinnati Reds last year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
