3 years agoPittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin had a monster game on Sunday against Detroit, racking up three goals and an assist in an 11-2 win. He notched his 13th NHL hat trick, which is his first since 2018. Malkin, who was back in action after missing one game with an illness, laid a foundation for his hat trick with a power-play goal early in the second period and completed the job 5:51 into the third frame. His assist also came on the power play.
