3 years agoFormer Washington Commanders running back Derrius Guice is hoping to relaunch his career and auditioned for NFL scouts on Monday at the HUB Football Camp in California. Knee injuries and legal issues derailed the 24-year-old's NFL career after he was a second-round pick in 2018, but he looks to be in outstanding shape and displayed a positive demeanor in his meetings with teams. He last played in the NFL in 2019 with Washington, rushing for 245 yards and two touchdowns in five games. Guice is a former record-setting back at LSU, but it remains to be seen if he'll be given another shot in the NFL. If he does sign with a club, he'll likely begin as a depth piece and is unlikely to have immediate fantasy appeal.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
