3 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that the team and wide receiver DK Metcalf have yet to engage in extension talks, according to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times. Carroll noted, "We intend for him to be with us. We'd love to figure that out. We are in a normal kind of mode this time of year, we have not gotten to that topic yet specifically because we've got so many other things going on, but we'd love to have him.'' This is understandable considering the Seahawks have spent the past few weeks focusing on trading Russell Wilson and signing free agents, but an extension is definitely something they'd love to cross off their to-do list soon. In 2021, Metcalf caught 75 passes for 967 yards and 12 touchdowns.
