3 years agoThe Cleveland Browns intend to take a patient approach in regards to a potential trade of quarterback Baker Mayfield, according to Josina Anderson of USA TODAY. The team doesn't feel pressured into trading the former No. 1 pick, and it's very possible that they keep him on their roster this coming season in case Deshaun Watson is punished by the league. Of course, it's also possible that the Browns have been underwhelmed by trade offers and are waiting to capitalize on an opportunity to deal him, such as an injury to another team's starter. Since being drafted, Mayfield has a trio of six-win seasons under his belt, plus an 11-win campaign that included a playoff bid in 2020. This past season, he made 14 starts, completing 60.5 percent of his passes for 3,010 yards, 13 interceptions, and a career-low 17 touchdowns.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
