Will Dissly A Core Piece Of Seattle's Offense
3 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks believe that tight end Will Dissly is a big part of their offense and moved to re-sign him in free agency when another team that knows him well attempted to pry him away. "Offensively right now, his leadership is huge. He's a core dude on the offense," general manager John Schneider said. Gerald Everett is now with the Chargers, but the Seahawks acquired Noah Fant in the trade that sent quarterback Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos. Dissly has yet to record over 24 receptions or top 262 yards receiving in his four NFL seasons in Seattle, and he's unlikely to be much of a fantasy consideration in 2022, considering the team's QB situation and the fact that Fant should be the primary pass-catching tight end.
