3 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons hosted free-agent wide receiver Damiere Byrd on a free-agent visit on Tuesday. Byrd recently visited the Las Vegas Raiders as well after spending last year with the Chicago Bears, where he caught 26 of 38 targets for 329 yards and one touchdown in 17 games (four starts). In six seasons with the Carolina Panthers, Arizona Cardinals, New England Patriots and Bears, he has 117 receptions for 1,421 yards and five touchdowns on 181 targets in 61 games (24 starts). There is opportunity in Atlanta with Russell Gage gone and Calvin Ridley suspended for all of 2022, but it's unlikely that Byrd becomes a viable fantasy asset with if he signs with the Falcons, especially with quarterback Marcus Mariota their new starter under center.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
