Rob Gronkowski To Return To Buccaneers?
3 years agoCBS Sports' Jason La Canfora believes that free-agent tight end Rob Gronkowski will re-sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers now that quarterback Tom Brady is back for another season. The Buffalo Bills were interested in adding Gronk this offseason, but that was before Brady unretired. If Gronkowski, who reportedly is torn on playing in 2022, does decide to continue his playing career, it's hard to imagine him playing anywhere else than next to Brady. Gronk and Brady are second to only Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison on the all-time list for most touchdowns by a QB and pass-catcher in NFL history. With O.J. Howard now in Buffalo, Gronk would surely be a strong TE1 option, albeit with injury risk, if he returns to Tampa.
