3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel could have a smooth path to negotiating a contract extension this offseason, writes NBC Sports' Matt Maiocco. The current trend of the market has put Samuel's next contract in the $22 million to $24 million per year range, establishing a very reasonable and less complicated negotiating process for the Niners and their star wideout. Maiocco believes that Tyreek Hill's new $23.85 million AAV lays the framework for "where Samuel can be expected to slot with his next contract."
