3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer has been swinging a hot bat thus far this spring. After going 2-for-3 with a double and a run in a 2-2 tie with the Philadelphia Phillies in Grapefruit League action on Saturday, Springer is hitting .615 with one homer, four runs, and two RBI over 13 at-bats. The veteran outfielder dealt with multiple injuries in 2021, his first season with Toronto, and was limited to just 78 games. Despite the abbreviated campaign, Springer still managed to hit 22 homers in hitter-friendly Toronto. Springer can be selected as a top-20 outfielder in mixed fantasy leagues in drafts for 2022.--Matt T - RotoBaller
