Jake Lamb Reassigned To Minors Camp
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder Jake Lamb has been reassigned to minor league camp. The Dodgers plan on carrying 16 pitchers, so that doesn't leave too many roster spots left for position players. Both Lamb and Kevin Pillar are expected to miss the roster with Edwin Rios likely snagging the final roster spot. The 31-year-old plans to accept his assignment to Triple-A. The former All-Star has struggled over the last few seasons. He hit .194/.306/.368 with seven long balls and 19 RBI last season between two teams. There's decent chance that Lamb gets to play in Los Angeles at some point this season, but he's unlikely to carry fantasy value.
