3 years agoToronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews extended his lead in the NHL's scoring race as he finished with a hat trick in Monday's 6-2 victory against the Lightning. Matthews had a four-point night as he added an assist on Mitchell Marner's third period goal to give the Maple Leafs their sixth of the contest. Matthews has total of 54 goals, 38 assists and 92 points through 64 games, and with 13 games remaining on the schedule he is well on his way to become the first player to reach the 60-goal mark since Lightning forward Steven Stamkos in 2011-12.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
