3 years agoBoston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy registered two assists Monday against Columbus, helping the team to a 3-2 overtime win. Jake DeBrusk and Craig Smith benefited from McAvoy's work. The talented rearguard is now on a five-game assist streak, handing out nine assists in total during the run. He's upped his tally for the whole campaign to 41 assists and 49 points, and McAvoy keeps himself busy in the defensive zone as well, having registered 131 hits and 109 blocks during the season.
