3 years agoFree-agent wide receivers Marcus Johnson and Malik Turner are visiting the San Francisco 49ers on Tuesday, according to Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network. Through seven games in 2021, Johnson hauled in nine of 19 targets for 160 yards. Meanwhile, Turner enjoyed some late-game action, too, catching 12 passes for 149 yards and three scores. It remains to be seen if either player signs with San Francisco, but even if they do, it would only be for a depth role. Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, George Kittle and Jauan Jennings have asserted themselves as key pieces of the offense, which is already run-oriented.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
