Nationals And Mets Pushed Back On Thursday
3 years agoThursday's season opener between the Washington Nationals and New York Mets has been pushed back from its original start time of 4:05 p.m. due to expected inclement weather. First pitch is now slated for 7:05 p.m. While two MLB games have already been postponed to Friday, the Nats and Mets seem optimistic that conditions will improve before the evening arrives. Washington will deploy veteran southpaw Patrick Corbin as its Opening Day starter. Meanwhile, Jacob deGrom's latest injury puts Tylor Megill on the bump for the Mets.
