Colts Sign Armani Watts
3 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts signed free-agent safety Armani Watts to an undisclosed deal on Tuesday. Watts has mostly been a special teams player in his career, but he has played in 16 regular season games in each of the last three seasons for the Kansas City Chiefs. The 26-year-old was a fourth-round pick by the Chiefs in 2018 out of Texas A&M, and he has totaled just 58 tackles (42 solo), three tackles for loss, three QB hits, two sacks, two passes defensed and one fumble recovery in 53 games (one start) in his four NFL seasons with Kansas City. Expect Watts to play a special teams role in Indianapolis in 2022.
