Juan Soto Goes Deep In Opening Day Loss
3 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Juan Soto clubbed his first home run of the season on Thursday as his club fell to the Mets 5-1 in the Opening Day contest. Trevor May was the victim of the 23-year-old's no-doubter to right field that measured 428 feet with a 111 MPH exit velocity for his team's only run of the game. Soto finished his night going 1-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout, and is looking poised for another MVP-type season after hitting .313 with 29 HR a year ago.
