Commanders Haven't Made Terry McLaurin An Offer
3 years agoThe Washington Commanders have yet to make wide receiver Terry McLaurin a contract-extension offer, according to a source. McLaurin is entering the fourth and final season of his rookie contract. Washington met with his agent at the NFL combine in February and recently said they've been having ongoing dialogue, but there hasn't been an offer yet. There's still plenty of time to get something done with the team's No. 1 receiver, and the Commanders still have plenty of interest in locking him up for the future. The 26-year-old has back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons in his first three NFL campaigns and will get an upgrade with quarterback Carson Wentz in 2022. Scary Terry should be targeted as a high-end WR2 in fantasy drafts this fall.
