Francisco Lindor Leaves After Hit By Pitch
3 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor was removed from his team's Friday night game against the Washington Nationals after getting hit in the face by a Steve Cishek pitch. Cishek hit Lindor during the fifth inning, prompting both teams' benches and bullpens to clear out. On the bright side, Lindor was able to exit the field on his own. Cishek was ejected from the game despite it not appearing to be intentional, but the Washington pitchers have already hit four Mets batters in just two games this series. Expect New York to update Lindor's status shortly after Friday's game ends.
