Packers Eyeing Receivers In First Round Of Draft
3 years agoThe Green Bay Packers "would love" to find a true No. 1 wide receiver during the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, according to insider Jordan Schultz. The team holds pick Nos. 22 and 28 this year and is in the market for a new alpha wideout after trading Davante Adams to the Raiders. Schultz notes that the Packers haven't used a first-round pick on a wide receiver during the Aaron Rodgers era, but he also acknowledges that these are unprecedented times for the team. Green Bay lost Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling this offseason, leaving them with Allen Lazard as their top wideout. Schultz sees prospects Jameson Williams, Treylon Burks, and Jahan Dotson as potential targets for the Packers.
