3 years agoBoston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts (hamstring) was back in the starting lineup on Saturday against the New York Yankees and went 0-for-3 with a walk and three strikeouts. Bogaerts left Opening Day early with right hamstring tightness but returned the very next day. The 29-year-old had a rough game on Saturday, but he was solid in the season-opener, going 3-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored in the loss to the Yankees on Friday. It's possible that the Red Sox give him a breather on Sunday night, although the fact that Bogaerts was back at shortstop a day later is a good sign that it's not a serious injury at all. The superstar shortstop should be in all redraft lineups as long as he's in there in the series finale on Sunday against left-hander Jordan Montgomery.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
