Travon Walker In Play At No. 1 Overall?
3 years agoMost people believe the Jacksonville Jaguars will take Michigan pass-rusher Aidan Hutchinson with the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft. However, general manager Trent Baalke, who was previously the general manager of the San Francisco 49ers, consistently took players with incredible physical traits over the top collegiate performers. Georgia pass-rusher Travon Walker fits that description, and there has been chatter that Baalke sees a lot of Aldon Smith in Walker. The 6-foot-5, 275-pounder finished with 17 solo tackles (7.5 for loss), six sacks, two passes defensed and a fumble recovery in 13 games in his junior season at Georgia last year.
