Nick Castellanos Starting Slow At Plate For Phillies
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Nick Castellanos went 1-for-3 with a single, a walk, a run scored, and a strikeout in Monday's 5-4 comeback win over the Mets. The 30-year-old signed a five-year, $100 million deal with the Phillies this off-season, but is hitting just .200 through his first 16 plate appearances with his new team. He does have a .467 slugging percentage, so the power has been there. Regardless, fantasy managers should not worry about his average just four games into the season. He will look to pick things up against Tylor Megill Tuesday, who had a strong first start but a mediocre 2021 season.
