3 years agoBuffalo Sabres defenseman Owen Power is set to make his NHL debut on Tuesday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The first pick of the 2021 draft signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the club last week and he had his first full practice with the team on Monday. Power is a big two-way defenseman who is set to make an impact at both ends of the ice straight away. The 19-year-old posted 32 points in 33 appearances for the University of Michigan this season and also played for Canada at the Olympics. He will start his life in the NHL with Henri Jokiharju on the second defensive pairing.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
