3 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks are hosting Cincinnati quarterback Desmond Ridder on Wednesday. This is the only known pre-draft quarterback visit for Seattle, one of the only remaining teams with immediate uncertainty at the position. The 22-year-old Ridder, along with Liberty quarterback Malik Willis, may offer the highest upside of the class, but there are also many questions about their NFL readiness. As Seattle lays their foundation for life after Russell Wilson, Ridder may offer a viable transition to build around. He would have enormous shoes to fill, but Seattle is as likely as any team to take the risk for high upside at the position. Ridder finished his senior season with 3,334 yards, 30 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He added 355 yards and six scores on the ground.--Dessy John
