Kirk Cousins Looks To Finish His Career With Vikings
3 years agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins, who signed a one-year, $36.1 million contract extension in March that includes a no-trade clause, said that he wants to remain with the Vikings for the rest of his career. "I would like to retire as a Viking, and so I would like to play my way into that if you will. I know I've got to earn the right to do that. But if I could draw it up, it would be (to) play well enough that you never have to play or wear another jersey anywhere else. So I'm going to work really hard to try to make that possible," Cousins said. The 33-year-old signal-caller will be working with new head coach Kevin O'Connell in 2022 and has two of the best receivers to work with in Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen, not to mention a strong running back with Dalvin Cook.
