3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. (foot), who missed his entire rookie season because of a left foot injury, said he is 85-90% recovered from his Lisfranc injury and expects to be fully cleared for training camp. He's back on the field for the start of the team's voluntary offseason conditioning program and is doing "the majority of the stuff" in terms of on-field work. The 25th overall pick last year said sometimes he'll get a little sore after a long workout. "If I didn't know I had a screw in my foot, I couldn't tell. I feel like that's a testament to where I'm at in my transition and how I'm healing," Etienne said. The 23-year-old might be the team's featured back early in the season if James Robinson (Achilles) isn't ready. It remains to be seen exactly what Etienne's role will be with Robinson in the fold as well, but he was one of the most explosive RBs in the nation in his time at Clemson.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
