3 years agoThe Detroit Lions signed former Baltimore Ravens sixth-rounder DeShon Elliott to an undisclosed one-year deal on Wednesday, according to a source. Elliott was recently on a visit with Detroit and has shown plenty of promise when healthy, most notably in 2020 when he started 16 games. The 24-year-old safety had 80 tackles (51 solo), three tackles for loss, five QB hits, 2.5 sacks, four passes defensed and two forced fumbles in 2020, but he's played in 12 games in his other two NFL seasons due to injuries.
