3 years agoThe Carolina Panthers have talked to numerous teams about moving back from the No. 6 overall pick in the draft, according to league sources. The Panthers don't have another pick until No. 137 in this year's draft. Going with a quarterback in the top 10 might be too much, but taking one in the middle of the first round might be more palatable for Carolina. A trade out of the sixth overall pick would also give the team more draft capital after they traded away their second- and third-round picks last year to acquire quarterback Sam Darnold and cornerback C.J. Henderson. Regardless of what happens, the Panthers are fully expected to take a signal-caller in this year's draft, and he could compete with Darnold for the starting gig in training camp.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
