3 years agoThe early indications are that Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez (oblique) will be placed on the injured list with what is suspected to be a left oblique injury. Further details on the severity of the injury will be known when the team gets to the Bronx on Thursday afternoon. Hernandez landed on the injured list with a similar injury in the shortened 2020 season. The 29-year-old left the game early on Wednesday, and an MRI exam will likely confirm an oblique strain. Fantasy managers should expect him to be out longer than the required 10 days, and oblique strains can often linger for a hitter with an aggressive swing like Hernandez. The right-handed hitter was off to a good start, too, going 6-for-19 with a home run and three RBI in his first six games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
