3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (knee) and catcher Gary Sanchez are not in the starting lineup on Saturday against the Boston Red Sox. Buxton left the game on Friday due to right knee soreness and is undergoing further tests to rule out a significant injury. It doesn't seem like the 28-year-old's injury is that serious, but Buxton has proven to be extremely fragile in his career, so his fantasy managers should still be holding their breath. Nick Gordon is in center field and is hitting seventh on Saturday against Red Sox right-hander Tanner Houck. Ryan Jeffers is doing the catching for Sanchez and is batting ninth.
