3 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Robbie Grossman (groin) is back in the starting lineup and batting leadoff on Saturday as his club takes on Kris Bubic and the Kansas City Royals. The 32-year-old has missed the last three games with groin tightness, but his MRI came back clean and it appears he's no longer feeling the soreness he had earlier in the week. Grossman is off to a slow start to his 2022 campaign with just one hit in 17 at-bats, but manager AJ Hinch is showing confidence in the switch hitter by putting him back into his customary leadoff spot in his return to the diamond.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
