3 years agoNew York Giants cornerback James Bradberry has been absent from the team's voluntary offseason workouts as general manager Joe Schoen tries to find a trade market for the Pro Bowler. Eventually, the Giants may have no choice but to cut Bradberry because of their terrible salary cap situation. New York has holes at right tackle, defensive line, inside linebacker, outside linebacker and safety. Trading Bradberry would save the team $12.1 million, while they'd have a $9.7 million dead salary cap hit. If he's cut, the Giants would save only $10.1 million. Bradberry is in the last year of his contract and carries a $21.8 million cap hit, and he's not a great fit in new defensive coordinator Don Martindale's man-coverage-heavy scheme.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
