Denzel Mims Putting In Extra Work This Offseason
3 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Denzel Mims is seemingly ready for the 2022-23 season to begin. Mims, who was selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, has struggled throughout his tenure as a professional, finishing the 2021-22 campaign by hauling in only eight catches for 133 yards. However, he's reportedly now "bigger and leaner" after he began working with his longtime personal trainer immediately after the Jets' year ended in January. Nonetheless, Mims will have to convince head coach Robert Saleh that he's improved if he hopes to move up on the team's depth chart. Yet, The 24-year-old appears to be trending in the right direction, so managers should continue to monitor his progress ahead of fantasy drafts.
