Mike Trout Out Of The Lineup Monday
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (hand) is not in the starting lineup on Monday against the Houston Astros. Trout left the game early on Sunday against the Texas Rangers after getting hit by a pitch in his hand, but X-rays came back negative and he's considered day-to-day for now. Brandon Marsh is starting in center field and is hitting fifth on Monday against Astros starting pitcher Luis Garcia. Trout could return to the Angels lineup as soon as Tuesday. The 30-year-old has two home runs, three RBI and eight runs scored in his first 37 plate appearances in 2022. Marsh is hitting .261 with a homer, eight RBI and a stolen base in his first eight games this year and could be a sneaky DFS play in the middle of the Angels order on Monday.
