Rich Hill Takes Loss On Monday
3 years agoBoston Red Sox left-hander Rich Hill allowed four runs over 4 2/3 innings of work in an 8-3 loss to the Minnesota Twins on Monday. Hill struck out two and walked two in the loss, his first of the year. The 42-year-old served up a two-run homer to Kyle Garlick in the first inning and then another two-run shot to Jorge Polanco in the third inning to seal his fate. Hill now has a 0-1 record, 7.00 ERA, 1.56 WHIP, and six strikeouts over nine innings of work in 2022. Hill will try to get on track next time out.
