3 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr. (knee) will start his rehab assignment this weekend. Wade opened the regular season on the injured list and has been dealing with knee inflammation since late March. It's unknown how long of a rehab assignment he'll need, but the 28-year-old could be an option for the Giants outfield as soon as next week. He had a solid first season in San Francisco last year, slashing .253/.326/.482 with 18 home runs, 56 RBI, 52 runs and six stolen bases in 381 plate appearances over 109 games played.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
